The Shenstone & District Car Club Ltd has the following vacancies relating to the SDCC Sprint Meetings at Curborough.
These need to be in position by the end of 2021 to ensure arrangements for the 2022 season are in place.
Both positions are voluntary.
After 21 years of doing the job, John Williams is stepping down as Competition Secretary (but maintaining his other functions within the club).
A full job description can be supplied on request but in summary the job entails the writing of Supplementary Regulations including liaising with the Clerks of the Course for each event, applying for MSUK Permits, establishing availability and booking of various organisations and personnel required at the Sprints, writing final instructions, liason with the Entries Secretary, issuing all documentation to Officials and ensuring post event completion of all requirements.
ENTRIES SECRETARY AND SECRETARY OF THE MEETING:
Cathie Gwilliam is taking a sabbatical for a year in 2022 in providing the excellent function of Entries Secretary and the official position of Secretary of the Meetings.
This involves receiving/recording all entries (in whatever format they arrive) for SDCC events and processing them in accordance with agreed procedures, issuing Final Instructions to all competitors, liason with the Competition Secretary, processing all pre-event online documentation for competitors, together with post-event requirements and all aspects of receiving and processing entries.
BOTH POSITIONS require a degree of knowledge related to computer systems and online processes as well as the obvious interest in motorsport at Curborough.
