Introduction to Sprinting Day
Introduction To Sprinting 2026.
On 1st March 2026 the Shenstone & District Car Club will be running an Introduction to Sprinting Day.
This event is designed for anyone who does not yet compete but is interested in doing so.
There will be a session on how to start out in this low-cost form of motorsport including car preparation, paperwork, etc, and also participants will have the chance to drive the course in their own road car with an instructor alongside.
This event is free of charge and open to both members and non-members, we welcome anyone interested in becoming involved in this form of motorsport.
Cars must be road legal in all respects and you need to hold a full UK driving license. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited, just turn up and register on the day. No bookings will be taken in advance.
Signing on will start at 9.00, the first batch starting at 9.15am and the intention to finish by 12.30pm.
To run this event SDCC need volunteer competition members to act as track Instructors during the morning session and also others who can help with the organisation of the event.
