About Curborough Sprint Course

Curborough Sprint Course is maintained and administered by Shenstone & District Car Club who remain committed to delivering first-class services across all areas of their operations as well as driving grassroots motorsport forward.
A dedicated management team of volunteers ensures the smooth running of the club and its activities, including the management of Curborough Sprint Course.

Curborough Sprint Course has been at the heart of grassroots motorsport for over 60 years, while the club itself has been in existence for over 90 years. SDCC continually invests in the circuit, maintaining and enhancing facilities–including the all-important track surface–to uphold its status as the UK’s premier grassroots sprint venue.
The circuit is regularly used by media organisations (TV and magazines), motorsport clubs, and even local cycling clubs, which have designated Curborough as a ‘Centre of Excellence.’ Motorsport remains the primary focus, with over twenty Motorsport UK (MSUK) regulated sprints hosted annually, alongside other grassroots events such as MSUK-regulated AutoSolos’. Additionally, SDCC runs monthly competition members test days throughout the season, as well as regular track afternoons for club members.

The highly regarded Sprint Schools, held twice a year, offer a full day of expert instruction from qualified instructors. These sessions benefit both competitive drivers looking to refine their skills and non-competitors seeking to improve car control and confidence behind the wheel.

SDCC are also mindful of our local community and operate strict noise control procedures at all events. Furthermore, SDCC supports a selection of registered charities that support local people by offering free circuit hire, helping them raise vital funds for their causes.

SDCC remain actively engaged with authorities regarding proposed construction developments that could impact Curborough. With HS2 passing close to our entrance and changes expected to the surrounding road network, we maintain regular dialogue with HS2 contractors to ensure our operations are considered in their plans.

The continued success of SDCC & Curborough is entirely due to the dedication of our volunteers. From the management committee and event officials to the marshals, working parties, and club members who welcome newcomers to the sport, every individual plays a crucial role in keeping Curborough a thriving motorsport venue.

Please see our Calendar page for a list of Main Events for 2026, spectator entry and parking are free at most meetings, but for those that do charge we suggest you join SDCC to receive 2 passes (Membership Card and Guest Pass) which will give free access to those events.

The venue is also available to hire, and in the first instance please email the Course Administrator on courseadmin@curborough.co.uk.

We hope you enjoy your visit.
