2010 SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUNDS 2 & 3
The BMRMC event was buoyed by the Caterham Championship to make sure that unlike last years event, it didn't nearly have to be cancelled through lack of entries. Unfortunately this meant that some competitors didn't get an entry, only supporting the comments we make about entering your events as early as you can!
The sole entry in Sa, Josh Bradburn, was throwing his Peugeot around in entertaining fashion!
Sb saw a good turn out, with Bob Smith winning the class as he had to move back to his Tipo, while he finds a new piston for the Nissan! 2 nd was Matt Browne in his Clio Sport, from the Golf Gti of Chris Gillie in 3 rd .
Warwick Bourton just edged the family M3 scrap from his brother Richard in Sc.
In 1B, David Marshall took a comfortable win in his Peugeot 205 GTI, which also won best presented car award.

Class 4A saw the GTM Coupe of David Large win from Roger Slater's Sylva Striker.
Les Proctor took the FTD for the meeting. With a 56.62 run in his OMS 1600.
Round 3, the SDCC single lap event saw summer arrive at last, and produced a very good Championship turnout.
Leslie Wilson took the class win in Sa in his Daihatsu Charade, by 0.13 secs from Mandy Smith's Metro.

FTD went to the Gould GR55 of John Bradburn taking a stunning FTD of 27.30 and hitting 139mph over the finish! Well, now summer is here, I hope your entries are in for the Owen meeting on the 13 th June, and look forward to seeing you all there.
